tbf i think its making noises for a contract, not money. no player his age can demand alot (in relative terms, to when they where last at negotiations). he'll more likley stay, but if he did move i doubt he'll go anywhere that involves a relocation. see him somewhere like Derby or Villa.

Liverpool are stalling on a new deal, this is his way of ensuring the fans start to clamour for his retention, thus putting the club under pressure to do something sooner rather than later. He won't go anywhere: can you honestly see Steven Gerrard turning out for a team like Aston Villa or Newcastle?
