With the amount of gloryhunters backing Germany, I'd expect the referee to receive several death threats. At least this defeat will wipe out the gloryhunting German fans!

Not sure how there can be glory hunters in national football, but okay...

The penalty changed the game. I think that doesn't get given two times in three so France got lucky. Thereafter, they did enough to win with some gutsy defending and one or two top saves from Lloris.

In Griezmann and Pogba they have arguably the two standout players of the tournament. The final will be interesting.

As for Germany I think they've gone backwards, they haven't replaced Lahm and Klose.

I dont really see the debate over the penalty, did he mean it? no not directly but he jumped with his hands up in an unatural position, if the ball had directly hit his hand and been punched clear no one would question it, but he still might not have meant it.

There are tons of them outside Europe. The 7-1 battering of Brazil by Germany made tons of Brazil fans in Malaysia and elsewhere switch their allegiances to the Krauts.
