Argentina blew one of the biggest games in their history, when it mattered. They didn't have the balls for the job. Messi was largely ineffectual, again. In years to come, the record books will show that Germany won the World Cup Final. A meaningless friendly such as this won't even register.
The Germans get it right when it matters. Which is more than can be said for England.

And not the recent industrial action ?

I think my comrades in the German rail unions thought I was feeling homesick so they ****ed the trains up for a short period to make me feel at home. Just to enter into the spirit I plan to pay four times what I should pay for my next ticket.
