It was a liver but I feel the same way. He was't even that good as a footballer. About 10 years of real skill and then at 27 he was completely finished.

Best is a total wreck. Sky should be ashamed that they still employ him.

Apart from the moral question, he is a shit pundit, and he doesn't give a flying fig for any teams outside the top 10 of the Premiership.

Meopham, Kent.
As a pundit he's pretty poor, far too Utd biased to be objective, rarely on top of what's going on (the Smith goal last night just left him completely confused) and probably goes on the sauce before the show.

As a man, he's a f**king disgrace, and any sympathy I ever had for him has long since evaporated.

As a footballer he was one of the blessed ones. Truly remarkable player in an era where defenders were allowed and expected to physically kick you out of the game. If he played now he would be completely unstoppable. But even then he failed to make the most of his talent.

I'm sure the likes of Best and Gazza are exactly the reason that modern day players such as Beckham, Giggs and Owen seem to live such respectable existances. They know how easily you can throw it all away.

They have him there because of his assessments of individual players, they know he's shit at summarising
