The keeping at the level they now play at has improved considerably though.

Thank god (although I'm concerned you might just be being polite). I insulted the women's team at uni 26 years ago when I said I thought women's football was great, except for the keepers.

I don't know what it is about being a keeper that women find so difficult.

On the basis that the majority of the REMF players would be in decent shape, they'd out pace, out muscle and dominate at every set piece. So regardless of skill levels I think that the REMF team would win convincingly.

If the men weren't winning, they'd resort to Burnley hoofball.
