Tories about to take County Durham from Labour for the first time since 1919.
THEY'VE DONE THE GOOD WORK , AS I SAID MORE VOTES GOING THE CONSERVATIVE WAY FOR a hard Brexit, no point in being deluded over this
BlueKIP ensure Tories HOLD ON in WEST SUSSEX.
CON 56 (+11)
LDEM 9 (+1)
LAB 5 (-1)
UKIP 0 (-10)
Ind 0 (-1)
Indeed it looks like a coronation, our worst ever PM will beat the 2nd worst ever Leader of the Opposition. He won't hear them - what with his fingers in his ears and la-la-laing. UKIP have retained 0.76% of their seats. Liberals still getting a kicking. Looks like a coronation for a woman doing a poor impression of Thatcher. Still, at least she is strong and stable.

Presume you must mean Michael Foot, he was an intellectual colossus compared to Corbyn. Still apparently it's all the Media's fault...
I thought he meant IDS - he was even worse than Corbyn.
I forgot IDS, he nearly cracked it with his " Quiet Man " slogan, if only he had come up with " Strong and Stable ".I thought he meant IDS - he was even worse than Corbyn.

Also Michael Foot wasn't helped by the formation of the Social Democratic Party by Owen, Jenkins, Williams and Rodgers as Labour moved further to the left.
A similar thing could well happen again post the General Election if Corbyn wants to hang on after the thumping Labour are going to get (it's all the Medias fault of course)
UKIP done and dusted in Kent and East Sussex. A few still to declare in West Sussex, but nothing there either.
