General 2017-18 pre-season friendly thread

I realise there is a thread specifically about the first pre-season friendly to be announced, against Southend United.

The Argus also mentioned today that the U-18s will play a game against the Wick first team in July. I thought it might make sense to have a dedicated thread where these fixtures can be collated as a point of reference.

So far then:-

1st team: Tuesday July 25 @ Southend United

U-18s: Saturday July 29 3pm @ Wick FC

Would love to see the Worthing friendly re-instated. Failing that would definitely keep the Lewes friendly at the Dripping Pan.

I don't think it's likely as long as Hughton is our manager as I understand he doesn't like the plastic pitch.

Good, even now the pitches are awful and that includes Culver Road, which is supposed to be the best in the county.

Remains a shame for Worthing and Lewis though as good money spinners.

You would assume that the away game to a European team and the home game at the Amex will be against top flight opposition. Maybe a Bundesliga side away and a La Liga side at home?

As my post earlier on the Gross thread, announce an away game in Europe in the morning against an unnamed team and in the afternoon sign Gross from Ingolstadt
