From the BBC site preview of tonight's game.......

When these two bitter North London rivals clash in the League Cup it is normally at the semi-final stage, and they have enjoyed some famous last-four tussles over the years.

Arsenal emerged victorious in 1987 after a thrilling trilogy of games. The Gunners looked down and out in the second leg at White Hart Lane, but riled by a half-time tannoy announcement telling Spurs fans how to get their tickets for Wembley, they rallied and forced a third game which they dramatically won in the final seconds.

Gavin Hoyte.

With us, he had about 20% of games where he was terrible, about 60% of games where he was alright, and about 20% of games where he was quite good.

Thus, NSC consensus = He was SO shit.

Woeful is harsh perhaps. For league 1 he was a solid back-up. For a Prem player (especially top4) that is woeful yes, but for us a useful bench player who might develop to championship standard given pedigree.
