I was very surprised to see he had sacked Garry Monk. Especially bearing in mind he has a history of sticking with managers through bad times in the past.

Gibson’s arrogance - on 15 May he put out a statement that included:

“We will smash the league next year. We want to go back up as champions."

If the Palace, Leeds or Massive chairmen said that, they’d be condemned as arrogant.

Feb 2014 Laudrup was sacked. No excuse really over 3 years ago. We had a bad season under Hyypia but came storming back. The right appointment and recruitment can turn things around quickly.
