Good, I doubt it will have any impact but maybe, just maybe it will make the media think twice about running with stories like this!

Pork pie land.
I agree, he will be doing the right thing if he leaves. They should be tried for treason for running that story just to sell a few more papers!

That's great news. Now maybe they can give the space to someone who can actually write and give some insight, rather than churn out bland crap and platitudes for a colossal amount of money.

Fair play to the crisp salesman.

So The Mail still have some more "revelations" from this tape recording to publish this Sunday then. Tossers.

Good on Mr Lineker. I doubt it will make one shred of difference to the ***** at the Mail but it's a start.

If only it was possible to get middle England to boycott the paper all together.

Whoooosh!

It's called 'a different take'. I can understand why Lineker would be against newspaper stings. He'll get his one day. However, your infinitely superior wisdom is the stuff of legend on here, and I wouldn't want to dispute it.

Top bloke. Why the hell the press think its in the punlic interest to try and scupper something that the whole country bar 1% would be up for it is beyond me. It's about time the press reflected public opinion rather than trying to form it.

God it makes me sick.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
If we do fail, I would love it if it seriously backfired on Triesman AND the Mail. I can't believe they sell something bordering 3.5m copies a day. No wonder we have such an angry country. :(
