Unfortunately all the old skool mechanics have left the motor trade.
I used to go to Roger Jackson in Arundel Place, top mechanic but he sold up 5 years ago and went to Spain.

Used them for years , i can’t recall if the brothers were “we don’t fix engines we just did brakes, an we fix em good” Btr Brakes ?

Not sure about any brothers to be honest.

I took my car in for an MOT and service yesterday. Told all was well. The mechanic I go to is a splendid and accommodating chap. But just too cheap. I've been before and a car has had a clean bill of health only to keep going wrong.

This morning I had to drive across town and the engine aint 'alf rattling. Think it might be a good idea to call out a mobile mechanic rather than take it back. Don't know if anyone has any suggestions.
