First I wasn't going. Then, for a delicious 15 minutes yesterday afternoon, it looked like I was, then hasty travel plans being devised while at work fell through and I wasn't again.
Reminded me of the 1-1 against City in which Enciso scored his goal-of-the-season. Then, as now, both teams went out determined to put on a good show despite the fact nothing significant was riding on it.
We always seem to have really entertaining games against Liverpool nowadays. It brings out the best football in us as well, remember Welbeck turning into Wele the other year?
Because it felt like Liverpool were going through the motions a bit, I still think the Bournemouth game was better. Both teams properly going for it in a real 50:50 game that we edged.
Spurs is still my favourite. Absolutely awful in the first half, but destructive in the second. To win 3-2 after being down 1-2 at half time is great. Winning 3-2 while down 0-2 at half time is amazing.
