Can’t think anyone would see today as a point gained.

Had the play and chances to kill the game off in the first half and then a rush of blood from Dahoud and that was it.

62% possession, a goal up at home and controlling the game.

Sheffield United had 1 shot on target.

A missed opportunity.

We took our foot off the gas 15 mins before half time having spurned chances to make it two. After the sending off and a goal from the first meaningful attempt on our goal, I was grateful to get away with a point

Should have sealed it in the first half. Would have sealed it in the 2nd if it wasn't for the red.

So in respect of the question where both answers are true, we should have come away with three points if we finished them off in the first half and/or didn't get a man sent off.

Not so fast - we looked nothing like 'sealing it' before the red card. If anything, we looked more likely to concede.

This.

They were getting up a head of steam before the red, in the knowledge that they had kept themselves in a game that ordinarily, in the PL, would've been LONG gone by then. That red gave them the extra boost, and in the end we were a bit lucky to hang on for a point.

We do weave some lovely patterns, but too much backwards. We're just not RUTHLESS. Almost a carbon copy of the Fulham game, but without all the shithousery.
