Brighton assistant manager Bob Booker has dismissed reports linking Portsmouth goalkeeper Shaka Hislop with a move to the Withdean Stadium.
Hislop is out of favour with Pompey boss Velimir Zajec following the arrival of Greek shot-stopper Kostas Chalkias from Panathinaikos and the improving form of rookie 'keeper Jamie Ashdown.
Brooker insists they have not been looking at Hislop as they already have four goalkeepers in the squad - Michel Kuipers, Ben Roberts, Chris May and Blackburn loan signing David Yelldell.
"It is complete speculation, we've got four 'keepers here at the moment so why would we be looking at other goalies?" said Booker.
