I don't understand people who go to matches and decide to speak about totally unrelated crap through the whole match! I'm pretty sure I heard some people near me's whole medical history and dieting techniques whilst trying to watch the match!

mate tell me about it, i managed to blag a steward up at half time to transfer me to the north stand from west, because the west was proper dead and the steward remembered me from chelsea there was apparently over 10 complaints because me and my mate was standing up and being noisy (yes standing up being the only two "we are the west stand brighton boys" any way to your point, because I was not allocated a seat in the north I waited for everybody to take their seat after half time so I was'nt stealing anybodies seat, found seats, sat down and there was two blokes behind me that literally wouldn't shut the f*** up kept talking the whole game about complete bull shit, it was so annoying.. was doing my nut, very of putting..

Pre season games I can understand, catching up with people you don't normally see during the off season but if its a league game its annoying.

Was saying this just last week, it's football not a coffee morning!

I was at the back of the north stand tonight being my usual noisy self misses and mates sat a few rows ahead some idiot moaning how loud and wait for it... Out of tune we were!!

Seriously?

They were discussing about how a band could help her back problem but she doesn't wanna try it as it might not work haha and the man was saying he couldn't have pies any more as he is getting too fat and how much exercise he does and that he prefers walking to cycling...

Nothing game, no atmosphere, have a nice chat, I do not see the problem myself. In a proper game I sing from the first minute to the last but at friendlies I just do not feel like it, to be honest I'd feel a bit stupid getting all worked up about a game that the players do not care about.

Surely there is time outside the game they should find to chat and catch up about topics that are unrelated, especially throughout the whole game 90 mins of bullshit for me to over hear narr, just make time for a pint after or before!

We was trying to create an atmosphere, friendly or not, I still want to watch the football, I don't go to the football to catch up on gossip.

Almost as annoying as people talking at gigs...

Nowhere near as annoying as people talking at gigs. Music needs to be listened to, football needs to be watched. You can watch football with people talking inane nonsense in your ear, but you cannot listen to music whilst the same is happening.

Hope you aren't the dark-haired balding guy who sits about 10 rows up in West Stand Lower H block and annoys EVERYONE around him by being arsey, picking arguments, staying standing up long, long after the corner or whatever caused him to lift his big arse off the seat, so kids behind him can't see the action...

THAT'S what really pisses me off! We all sing, we all chant but we don't have to be so arrogant as to annoy those around us.

The same idiot also often goes and gets rat-arsed at half time, leaving 5 mins early to get his pint, coming back red-faced and late after the second half has started & getting in everyone's way. And he leaves matches 10 minutes before the end as well. Prat.

no thats not me!

But i am pretty sure some day trippers who went to the chelsea game reported me to the stewards for nothing more than me showing my support, they were only there to take photo's of the chelsea players, im pretty sure i pissed people off in that area, and today I had a ticket in the same area as I did chelsea, so I overly boringly behaved sitting there, really wanting to get involved but not wanting to piss off anybody around me so at half time I requested to the staff if I may be transfered to an area that I will enjoy myself more and the people in the west stand wont be pissed off with me and I can feel comfortable about cheering on my team!

I do chat bull shit 90% of the time any other time, in fact probably 100% of the time but, people constantly talking through out the whole game proper gets on my nerves, just go for a pint or two after and talk! each for their own
