Not sure that he's been that impressive so far, but we've definitely looked better having a proper wideman on the left hand side.

Still think his crossing is very 'hit and hope', but that may largely be due to the lack of target man to aim for.

Would you prefer Frutos to be direct down the flanks and put in crosses or play like Doug and pull in towards the centre from being out wide?

Please shut up, i didn't even mention Loft.

If Loft says he's better in the centre, then i think he should be played in the centre (but not at the moment obviously, we have our midfield sorted currently it would seem).

Loft works well with an attacking fullback though, it's just a shame that Mayo's crossing is pony.

Agreed on Frutos, but is there something you particularly like about Frenchmen? Carole was PANTS last year, aside from a few decent games in August and September.

I also think Florent Chaigneau was a fantastic goalkeeper who really should have been signed permanently and givne the Number 1 shirt :lolol: :lolol:

Seriously though, I thought Carole was one of our better players last season (not saying a vast amount though, sadly), although he definitely seemed to fade rather badly. There were plenty of times though when his runs and creativity down the right were about the only positive thing happening for us.

Why is Frutos so poor this season? Can't pass. Poor control. He's a liability.

Loft or Jakey would be better in that position. Or anyone in fact ...

Has anyone noticed how much of a liability Goldstone is this season. His posting are poor and negative. Quite frankly I'd prefer 1066 ... or anyone in fact.

Seriously, Wilkins will get the best out of him, Frutos just needs games under his belt ... he'll be fine.

The Argus gave him an EIGHT. ???

Thought he was poor yesterday, but played well Tuesday and can still be a big asset for us in this league. Give him time.
