we need a new midfielder..
(Coppell agrees...remember Hunt? if Andrei doesnt sign we must use the money that would have gone on him to get a creative midfielder)
Reckon most of this has probably already been covered but
here's my observations for what they're worth anyway.
Why are we winning the ball at the back and lofting it up to
the lone figure of Leon Knight completely by-passing the midfield
players? Could it be because our defenders arn't confident of
our midfielders ability to do anything productive with it?
The complete lack of creativity was blatantly obvious yesterday,
haven't seen us so clueless for months. We seem to have moved
a long way way away from the crisp pass and move stuff that almost
kept us in Div 1 last season. Then again, we have sold our 2 most
creative players, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh.
We definatly need someone that can control the middle of the park
and the sooner the better because we cannot and will not stay in the
play-off positions if we persist with sending snow covered balls up towards
Leon Knight as our only form of attack.
We played like the away team against Swindon. Really disappointing.
Ben Roberts is fast becoming a liability, (It was like Fred Carno's Circus
at times yesterday and mark my words, he's gonna try and dribble round
an opposition forward soon and his next act will be to pick the ball up out
of our net)
I for one think Kuipers has been very unlucky, don't forget he didn't do
anything wrong,
he just got injured. Well, he's fit now and I'd take him back tomorrow.
Charlie keeps winning MOM, to me, that speaks volumes, a destructive
midfielder
who gives 100 % is regarded as our best player.
Enjoy the lofty league position folks, cos at this rate we won't be up there
for long.

Up The Albion!
p.s. very glad to put a quid in the Cancer Charity bucket, fantastic belt
that young
lady was wearing!
Using an Ian Hollowayism, its like getting a bird back to your place getting her kit off then discovering the zip of your jeans are stuck, you keep pulling at them but they won't fall down to your ankles, in the meantime you are starting to dribble with excitement but feeling a pang of disappointment.
Relax, get her to go out into the kitchen to get some butter and your kecks will soon be sliding down and you'll soon be in the pack chasing promotion.
