Good game of cricket , thought styris should of bowled out, the ball seemed to be holding up in the pitch to medium pacers , very enjoyable shame about the result .

Bloody poor effort by Sharks.

The big hitters are not producing enough runs and the bowlers are generally not consistent enough. And the fielding at the end was schoolboy stuff. Poor throw, poor wicket keeping, poor backing up.

There will be no finals day for us.

Hampshite lost their first 4 games last season and went on to win the competition, we've won a game in our first 4 and you could say we've been unlucky in general really so the fat lady is definitely NOT singing.

What it as with Hove in the one day stuff this season though, we just can't bloody seem to win there!???

Onwards and upwards down to Taunton, I hear there's a load of Sussex fans going down for it, weather will be lovely too. #propercricket:angel:

We have perfected the art of "Just Losing " in as such as when we bat it usually always looks a good total but one that is always just catchable. And, when we bowl we always seem to keep things under control until a few slip ups and a couple of big overs at the end messes us up.

All run chases either go well at first then collapse or go very badly at first then there is a dramatic partnership that almost takes us over the line... then we collapse again. We have, on paper, a destructive batting line up which always self destructs and a bowling "attack " that meekly gets trashed by middle order no-marks.

Other than that things are great !
