I'm sorry, but I didn't drive all the way from the Kent/Sussex border to watch "the score slightly flattering the Albion".

It was a fu$kin friendly. No great shakes.
Even Cullip was having a cup of tea and a burger after he came off at half time.

Everyone stop moaning. Its like being on a bloody childrens board sometimes.

Wankers.

Wouldn't read anything into this, it will be alright on the night (as they say)

Exactly

Didn't Wolves lose this time last season 5-0 to Morecambe with a full strength side?!!! :)

(And then they went on to beat Man Utd later in the season!! Its a crazy old world ;) )

All I said was

"I'm sorry, but I didn't drive all the way from the Kent/Sussex border to watch "the score slightly flattering the Albion".

This was an apology not a criticism.

It's sooooooooooooooooo easy.

We should all be looking forward to aseason back in div 1. Who cares if with don't sign anyone.

Even with the same squad all we have to do is pick up six extra points and avoid a 12 match run without a point.

Support the club ffs don't slag it off.

Leave that to the others.

It was a nice easy game for us with Worthing offering very little to trouble our defence.

I thought that Lee and Robertson look to have found their level at the moment. Hopefully JR will improve judging by the rave reviews he gets on here. Do not be hard on the lad but he looked to be too slow of thought to fragile and unable to kill a ball 1st touch. At this level I would have expected for him to shine but it is early days. Packham, made his customary balls up to gift us the second goal. The only one who looked remotely interested was Leon Knight.

Whatever the score I will not be happy. The fact that we have won promotion (again) is simply not good enough. Can people not see - we are being taken for a ride and we should complain at every opportunity. Friendlies are no good - they tell us nothing. We cannot expect to succeed when we can only beat non league teams 3-0. And why was Knight allowed to score? This just goes to show what we have always known - he is a selfish player! Others need the chance to score, particularly as he will not be available at the start of the season.

This is just not acceptable. The only way in which this club will be able to convince me that they are moving forward is if we get into the Premiership at the first attempt - then achieve a top six finish.

Even if they do this they would have to improve on the catering....

:D

the score is doesn't matter turgid! wat matters is the players getting match fitness and back into the old routine

So no-one playing in the first 3 games of the season managed to score against Worthing?

But what if we sign that Worthing defender then? You'll look pretty STUPID then, or shall I say, STUPIDER.

Why do these players need international clearnace? Surely if they were from Belgium or other places in Europe then the EU specifies they don't need any sort of permits or anything.

Or are they here illegally, via a delivery of tomatoes on a big lorry through Dover. This would of course save on transfer fees!!

Is that all you could score? We beat the Met Police 7-1! Youre def going down!!!!!!!

But Worthing weren't knackered from a busy day watching suspects fall down the stairs.

Chill out everyone. Friendlies are about getting match fit for 7th August. It is the middle of July and the players will have done a lot of hard fitness work so far. I do not expect to see particularly good performances from anyone in the middle of July.

Largely for this reason, £10 was taking the mick.

Lets not forget Palace getting stuffed 5-0 by Crawley a few years back and they still managed to stay in Div 1. Im not sure what people really expect from these games, on the whole they are just an exercise in getting match fitness.

The score in these games doesn't count at all, they are for getting match fit before the start of the season, I will not care about a result until the game on August 7th.

It was a good workout for our boys and a good payday for Worthing. Beyond that it was a fairly boring game (expected at this stage of pre-season).

Was the third and own goal? I thought Piercy scored
