I click the wall where the crosshair is and it switches to the CD player screen?

The battery is found by clicking on the very bottom left of the bare wall
The tape - I think is under the dresser with the CD player on it
The safe - watch the whole video, position your mouse over the crosshair, wait for it to finish and click to open the safe

Complete Walkthrough:
Collect the keys from the windowsill and under the pillow. Use the keys on the dresser and take the power cord and small box. Use the power cord on the CD Player, eject the CD drawer and take the 3rd key.
Grab the battery by clicking on the right hand corner of the bed, closest to the wall. This'll take some random clicking until suddenly the screen changes to show the gap between the bed and the wall.
Collect the 2 rings, one from the dish on the dresser and one from the curtains (click repeatedly to "shake" the curtain). Click between the mattress and headboard on the bed, and take the iron bar. Click underneath the dresser to move the camera down, and take the cassette. Put the iron bar, and 2 rings onto the small box. Insert the cassette into the space in the small box. Put the battery into place, and click on the projector to start the film.
Watch the film until the dancer starts to point at a crosshair. Keep your mouse over that crosshair until the film has completely finished. Now click, and the wall will reveal a safe.
Enter the code "1994" on the safe (obtainable from the URL). Use the 3rd key and take the screwdriver. Use this on the doorknob, and open the door to escape.
