Apart from the Southampton/Portsmouth bias, I enjoy his style of laid back reporting- light hearted where pssible, but serious when needed.

Sorry, I could never get beyond the "apart from Saints/Pompey" bias. If he's a commentator/reporter he's not supposed to be biased. His views tainted much of the local TV channel's SE sports coverage.
