Back from Goodwood, went down the winners enclosure after the race to see the presentations. Henry Cecil said that Frankel is probably the best horse he's ever seen. Yes, that's SEEN, not trained. A privilege to see him race if that's the case.

Frankel just seems to eat up the ground, a freak in the nicest possible sense. AWESOME

I work in a bookies and a serious punter of mine ..62 years in racing says 'best miler i've ever seen...incredible.' And what i saw was a bloody fast horse.

This is only the second or third time in 10 years I have not been at the Sussex Stakes. Was amazed at Frankel's accelaration. Incredible watched with other open mouthed punters in Ladbrokes Clarence Sq. Where now? Arc? He could get I think. Breeders Cup Mile? QEII ? Or even the Juddmonte?

Not to detract from the brilliance of Frankel but did no-one else think Canford Cliffs was given a poor tactical ride? I thought Hughes didn't know what to do and ended up being put in the shade with ease, it should have been a better race than it was and after all the hype and build up, I thought it was a disappointing race, because it wasn't one.
