franchise b*****ds

When franchise sold season tickets for mk earlier this year and were then unable to play in mk they promised they would refund season ticket holders on a pro-rata basis for all games that were played in London (alright - craphurst) instead of mk.
Today they have told people trying to get their money back that NO refunds will be given at all for games played at craphurst.

Believe it or not some mkers are now seriously talking about holding their own demonstration, alongside the afc/fans united one, at the hokey cokey stadium on Saturday demanding their money back.

Added to that they have announced ticket prices for pay on the day ranging from 22 quid to 35 quid for adults. This from a team bottom of the first and sinking fast.

It's going tits up for them :lolol:

THIS STINKS ANYWAY, WE HAD TO PAY THE FA 500.000 ON THE GURANTEE THAT WE WOULD RETURN TO BRIGHTON, FFC UP STICKS AND MOVE MILES AWAY AND THE FA DO NOTHING

 :censored:

Tickets will be £35 for away fans, apparently. By far the most expensive in the Division. The next most expensive (as far as I know) is Ipswich, at "only" at £23.

I hope the wankers go under before we have to play them.

I thought there was some sort of League rule preventing clubs from charging away fans more than home fans for similar seats. It cropped up a couple of seasons ago when we were going to Stoke.

Burnley fans have a nice day out planned for Saturday:-

The Central Lancs Clarets are holding a special day out as an alternative to watching franchised football on the day Burnley play in London or Milton Keynes or somewhere else.

If you don’t want to endorse franchising in English football and then why not join the Central Lancs on their day out with the original King Arthur and not the French variety currently plying his trade with Queens Park Rangers.

They are holding a Fun Day out at the Camelot Theme Park at Charnock Richard on Saturday 27th September and have been able to acquire a special admission price of £7 per person at the theme park, half the normal price. All rides are free once the £7 has been paid.

The day out is open to everyone and members are more than welcome, nay indeed encouraged to bring along their partners, kids and grandkids and friends whilst there will also be a welcome for any non-Central Lancs members.

Numbers must be confirmed by next Tuesday 23rd September and you can do this, or get further information by contacting the Central Lancs Clarets via email.

So if you want a good day out in the September sun with fellow Clarets and you are not going to see the Clarets play a franchise then don’t delay and join in with the Central Lancs Clarets.

Doesn't anyone else get the feeling that right from the off WFC were bought to be taken out of business? Though what assets do they have that the owners could rip off?

It's all a bit sh*t if you ask me.

It's good to hear they are pissing off even the plastic fans who couldn't be bothered to go to Northampton, Rushden, Luton or Watford but wanted to see MK's stolen team.

Hopefully they will continue to get crap gates, get relegated and ultimately fold, to be replaced in the league by a proper football club, with roots, tradition and real fans.

The ticket prices are outrageous to watch a third rate 1st Division side, who are bottom of the league and have lost hteir last 7 or 8 games. Not the ideal way to win new fans.

precisely - all the Conference teams have more right to be in the league than these shites. I don't want them relegated - I want them out of business. Scum.

Even Rushden & Diamonds (who've only been in business for 10 years or so) have more history, tradition and right to respect than AFC Franchise.

At least R & D worked their way up the pyramid since formation, like you're supposed to do.

Football fans grudgingly respect fans of other teams as they have that shared bond of (mostly) following a crap side week after week, through thick and more thick.

Whereas AFC Franchise fans have just latched on to a handy opportunity, which makes them no better than Cockney Reds or the new breed of glory seeking Chelsea fans. It will take years before anyone respects AFCF fans, and hopefully the club won't last that long.

You are looking at it the wrong way I think.

The club were bought with an idea to take them somewhere, where they can get planning permision to build a business park, or leisure park or housing or anything to make a profit.

The football club is incidental, a tool to get planning permission. I would not be surprised to see Franchise go into receivership, come out again with new owners a new name and no debts.
