Between this and May making an idiot of herself at the conference it's been a pretty good week for Cameron.
It amazes me that he has possibly been up to dodgy dealings with very dodgy people and all some seem to care about is wether he might be gay.
It is a peculiarity of government that civil servants with access to any sensitive information are background checked (in the Ministry of Defence I would have thought this would be the highest acknowledged level, Developed Vetting) while the politicians in charge aren't.
