Lyth unlucky there, Cook has edged, played and missed more times than he has, but Lyth gets a really good one, not a lot he could do about that.

I agree. And with the strength of England's batting line up all the way down to Broad, we have the luxury of being able to persevere for future benefit.

Besides, he's out scored every single Aussie batsman.

I think we've batted okay. Lyth got a late swinger, Bell got a swinging leg stump yorker. Both these deliveries would have troubled the best of batsmen, this isn't the pitch where you just cruise through an innings. Got to keep our heads because wickets will fall regularly.
