I've said it before, but for me Nicky Forster is the best footballer we've had at this club in my 15 years of supporting - INCLUDING Bobby Zamora. There is literally no weakness to his game, and he has vision and intelligence I've never seen the like of at our level. He also speaks outrageously well for a footballer. He's so articulate. He will definitely be a manager, so my advice to Mr Bloom is to sign him up as Russell's assistant as soon as his playing days start to come to an end, and to GROOM him as the successor.

No weakness in his game, other than the fact that he is a diver, doesn't hold the ball up well, gets in petty arguments with fellow strikers and has regular goal droughts.

Only the sort of mug that would be impressed by Derren Brown would think Forster is a better player than Zamora and Sidwell.

edit: bloody good player other than that though! I've rather made a mockery of my statement that people shouldn't argue about our strikers though!

Agreed. Utterly outstanding player, professional and individual. He has 40 goals in 93 appearances, but goalscoring is about 10% of his game. His movement, intelligence and link play are pure CLASS.

Doesn't hold the ball up well??!!?!???!? That is officially the stupidest thing I have ever read on NSC.
