In Gordon Smith's autobiography, it says Charlie George was on loan at Brighton. Does anyone remember this?

Yep, he was at Brighton for a short while, not sure that he was on loan though, more out contract looking for a club.

Not at all. Remember Reidy very well. he played for my cricket club!

I remember getting Paul Reid out caught behind playing against Mid Sussex - he didn't walk but the umpire soon soon showed him the finger.

Oh and Nathan Elder, will never forget his last minute goal at Oldham I think it was, for some reason Hartlepool comes to mind but I'm sure it was the game Hammond got sent off in!
