He's one of those players who seemed to obtain semi-cult-like (legends pfft...) status with a certain group of fans for being a rubbish George Best-a-like but without any of the positive attributes. He was basically some bearded bloke who somehow ended up in an Albion shirt at a time when we were severely lacking optimism during the Hyypia era.
It's a shame to see anyone fall to this level, but he's one of the players that I'm least surprised about
