Forest Green Rovers have released defender Scott Morgan after his head-butt on captain Martin Foster.
Morgan has had his contract at The Lawn "terminated by mutual consent," Forest Green confirmed on Friday.
Foster has also been disciplined by the club following the bust-up during the match against Halifax on Saturday.
Both players have also apologised for the incident, which occurred after Foster had criticised Morgan for conceding a penalty.
