Nottingham Forest have announced Stuart Pearce has been sacked as manager - and is currently considering an offer of an alternative role at the club.
Pearce, 52, returned to the club last summer on a two-year contract but a run of six defeats in seven games including Saturday's 1-0 loss to Millwall has ended his time in charge.
Albion entertain Forest next Saturday at the Amex.
A statement on the Forest website said: "After long discussions between owner and chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi and manager Stuart Pearce, the club has decided that Stuart will be relieved of his role as manager with immediate effect.
"Mr Al Hasawi has offered Stuart an alternative role at the club, which he is currently considering."
