Oh God how I hate that catchy jingle on the radio ads constantly: "Come to Malpass Market best in land" or some such guff. :rant:

Tried this a couple of times after recommendations on here, but wasn't overly impressed, really. Must try again next time I'm near.

Nick Coleman's [sic?] butcher shop in Ferring village is very pricey, but locally sourced produce and a friendly shopkeeper too. In fact I believe there's a couple of small butcher's in Ferring, one in the north and one in the south.

For all things spicy, it's got to be Chillipepper Pete's in Trafalgar Street. Pete died last year, but his wife Miranda still 'flies the flag'. She organises the Chilli Festival too.
