I did my French GCSE at newman last year and I found the best way to memorise the oral was simply to read it and read it until it's stuck. Read a sentence out loud a couple of times and then try and say it without reading the paper. Also I recommend not to do it all at once. Learn say one paragraph per night and that way you can say it on your head as you walk home for example, i found that I remembered it better doing it that way.
Although I am fluent in French so this may all sound pretty easy for me for maybe not for you. Anyway good luck mate

On an overland trip to Cyprus one year we met a soldier who was driving there also. I was wanting to learn Greek but found it difficult and he told me that he needed to learn Arabic and after 6 weeks of sitting 12 hours a day in front of a computer he was able to speak it fluently. Apparently an education authority in Wales were going to try a similar method for 6 and 7 year olds in French. I must say that the chap told us he was a student and it was only when going through customs at Limassol that I heard him say his name and number and when asked for more details said that is my name and number here is a telephoine number that you can use to verify it if you wished. I assumed that he was in specialist unit like SAS or similar.
