The Odds & Sods (among others) have taken to calling Chris McPhee 'Hughie' (pronounced 'Shewie') in honour of the diminuitive Scottish stalwart chef from the wall-moving wooden acting leviathan of a soap.

There's a hair salon in West Worthing that is owned by a former Crossroads actor. Can't remember his name, but he's David Jasons brother and plays the Sergeant in "A touch of Frost". All around the walls of his salon are pictures of the "stars" ( ? ) of Crossroads! Nothing beats having a quick number three all over with Amy Turtle looking down on you!

This might explain all the strange looks I've been getting this season as I've always called him that. Maybe I won't get so many now.
