Wayne Rooney ABOVE Julian Dicks? Dicks would have eaten him for breakfast.

Under normal circumstances, old bastards who hark back to the old days are wrong but....................

There is no way Roy Keane would have survived on a pitch with Chopper Harris, Tommy Smith or any of the real hardmen :nono:

Quite how it's worked out is a mystery to me seeing as the change in rules makes Roy Keane look like a small pussy cat in comparison to a wound up Tommy Smith clattering players from behind.
l
That cowardly tackle on the Man City player probably pushed Keane to no 1,

Trouble is what's the difference between Hard and Dirty ? Rooney is definately the latter if you ask me as is Keane. On the other hand I'd call somebody like Dave McKay hard.

I once went to an Evening with Vinny Jones and he pointed out that Roy Keane was always quiet when he was on the pitch with him.

This must have been voted for by people with no real understanding of the word "HARD".

Couldn't agree more, as Watford Zero said about Stuart Pearce, he was hard. Keane is just dirty.
