The Nest ... Top one is Norwich, is the other Nest Palace?

The Nest in Norwich was the most impractically-sited ground imaginable, shoved into an old quarry. The picture shows the beginning of a concrete wall that continued round the back of the goal, with terraces perched precariously on top. I believe there were several collapses, with spectators falling to ground level. Yet the record crowd was something like 26,000 for an FA Cup tie. Nowadays it would be closed down quicker than you can say 'Health & Safety.' You can still see the location, in Rosary Road, a couple of hundred yards north of Norwich railway station. And I guarantee your first reaction will be: 'How the **** could you ever fit a football ground in there?'
