Yeah, nearly finished the triology, until my dogs ripped up Engalnd Away, only had about 30 pages to go. Thought the best was HeadHunters, really good ending

Interesting that all the quotes in this thread that are from the shit film, none of them actually appear in the book.

All three books are class (as is most of John King's work) with, as pointed out above, Headhunters being the best of the bunch.

Albion & England forever.

No, me neither and with all the other forms of technological media now available it was great a book can still shock you...I even re-read the last page to take it in.

Albion & England forever.

What made it even better was the bit before, at the party. Sorry about being vague, just don't want to give the ending away

I understand, but that party trick was quality.

You wanna read my book, Middle Class Nutcase. The story of one man's struggle to get drunk whilst dealing with the high expectations of his parents. Gripping stuff.

To be honest, this is one of the few books I have read that I thought was worse than the film they made out of it. Very average I thought, about 4/10.

Sounds cool, expect there is lots of action in it? And a full in depth description of your former work colleague ;)

All the characters are very thinnly veiled, there is even a character who sorts our protagonist out with tickets now and again for his favourite team Brightstone United. Very shady individual know as the spider man for his ponchent for flicking monkey custard at his female conquests.
