A little under a year ago we all experienced the worst Albion day for a fair few years when the play-offs conspired that the decent in-form team lost to the team that had only just scraped into the play-offs. Worst of all, of course, that defeat was at the hands of hated rivals. Even worse, it was at home having already completed the difficult bit of the job in the first leg.
Yet, here we are, all willing to have a stab at the play-offs again. Yes, we know they won't be there waiting for us this time, but even so. It hurt. It hurt so bloody much, but we're willing to risk that pain again because of what we believe that victory will be the sweetest of tastes.
