Hi is anyone flying back the night of these games

If so what flight times are you on?

How long are we likely to be locked in after the game?

Doesnt seem to be any flights home after 10pm but curious to see what people have booked and what time you think you'll make it to the airport after the game

There’s a few flights leaving Marseille around 11pm. Did look into this myself but worked out it’s not really logical.

Will be kept in the ground for a minimum of 30 mins after final whistle, then from the centre of Marseille, depending on the time we get dropped back on the police escorted coaches, and then to the airport is another 20 or so miles away, so it’s not really realistic to do.

What are most people's travel arrangements for ajax?
I’m waiting to see if I’ve got enough loyalty points for a match ticket. If successful I will then travel by submarine across the North Sea and surface on the River Amstel as close as possible to the Amsterdam ArenA.

Well you could save time and kill two birds with one stone,by doing your pre-match drinking whilst on the submarine on the River Amstel.

It's the local beer.

Our fans will be locked in for 30 mins at least after the game. Assuming this and that the match is 6.45 local time to 8.30, allowing an hour to get to Schiphol from the ground, I'd say anything before midnight is a bit risky. Worst case, join the party in town and fly/train it back in the morning.

I'm going Weds evening from Luton and going home on Saturday evening. No chance of getting a ticket (210 loyalty points) but hoping there will be plenty of others in the same boat so we can gather to watch the game in a bar and join the rest of the contingent for a night out on the town. At worst It's a great excuse for a visit to a fantastic city.

Yep a good way of looking at it, Amsterdam is a fun city.

Looks like the latest flight after ajax is 21.50 so would need to be at the airport for 21.00 and game wont finish until 7.45pm. At least probably 8.20pm before you're allowed out.

Even though airport is fairly close theres no way of catching that flight realisically

I was looking at that but it’s two hours (pre check in time ) from SBS and then 4 hours from London. I’m hoping to take the car over which should be a third/half the cost for a group of 4/5 potentially and make a road trip of it.
Says 60 to 90 minutes arrive prior to departure.

It is actually a Thalis train back to Bruxelles-Midi then change there for Eurostar so assume you just turn up around 30 minutes or so prior to that
