Crewe cleared for Fleetwood talks

Crewe Alexandra have had a bid for much sought-after Forest Green Rovers striker Stuart Fleetwood accepted.
The League One side, who failed with an initial bid of £175,000, have now been given permission to open talks with Fleetwood about a possible move.

Gillingham and Cheltenham Town had previously failed with offers for the 21-year-old, who has scored 30 times this season.

Fleetwood joined Rovers in 2007 after spells with Hereford and Cardiff City.
