In years gone by I stood on that terrace with a certain gent who, despite his mild-mannered appearance, produced much flair with his flare.

Was it him, again, today?

I was standing 10 yards from him. Didn't come across as mild-mannered.

:lolol: How are the jeans Alex?

All well and good but it was bloody ORANGE.

I know, but at least the effort was there as we were in away colours! And at least it was'nt blue which would have been a bit of a contradiction! Still impressed and total respect to who ever let it off.

Didnt see who let it off, but the guy who threw it on just ran in, picked it up off the floor, chucked it and ran off. The stewards at the front did eff all. All on CCTV you'd imagine, but I reckon he got to see the rest of the game at least!

According to a Peterborough fan, An Ipswich fan got banned for 3 years for setting one off a flare last season at London Road.
Hardly worth a 3 year ban IMO

True. Although a little over the top for a 3 year ban. I would have thought that having to watch Ipswich for three years would have been punishment enough.

Seriously though, apart from turning people's jeans orange (orange - who the f*** smuggles in an orange flare?) he was hammered because he was caught out on multiple offences - possession of a prohibited item, throwing items onto the playing area and surround, endangerment, etc, etc.

Flares are not clever but the twat who threw the coin is an even bigger cock - is it worth someone showing how big and clever they think they are if it costs the club money in fines?

This is going to be our big year - and I remember the day we went up to the old First Division (that's Premier for the young'uns on here). This year has the potential to be bigger and better. We are destroying teams - remember that we were away to the team third in the league and we annihilated them (no matter what Claridge reckons). Looking at our stats we are not just scoring on the break, the games are ours to the point where we must own the match ball based on possession. Things are going our way. The only concern is that we are going to pass Palarse on the way down and not get to the play them for another year.
