Flag regulations

Yesterday at Hillsborough the stewards wouldn't let us put up our flag unless it had a fire certificate. The steward said there had been a change in regulations this year but wasn't sure whether it was just Wednesday or all clubs. As we were away for the first game at Withdean I was just wondering whether this applied to us as well.

There are regulations dealing with fire resistance of material that is bought into the stadium. Most clubs will not create a fuss over small flags but will generally ask for certificates for larger flags. Best option is to contact individual clubs for their own policies.
