Looks like a very tough start. Away at Rotherham is never easy and then we play four of the favourites in the first six matches... Brentford, Forest, Bristol City and Millwall. Very tricky indeed.

August 26th Home to Crewe

Or

Sussex at Lords. Hmmmmm....

The club website now says that they will try to swap this fixture possibly to the Friday night.

They're also going to try and swap the home match with Cheltenham on 9th December to the Friday night due to the Christmas park and ride.

Why no summer bank holiday game? Can't ever remember there not being one before...

I can't see Crewe agreeing to that really. They don't need to and it would make it easier for their supporters to have it on a Saturday.

I hope they do, but you never can tell...

Starting away from home and ending the season away from home in my eyes is taking the piss a bit

Among the vast army of Lancashire cricket fans, there are a fair few who live in leafy Cheshire. They would choose Lords over Withdean any day.

Whether Crewe counts as leafy is debatable, though.

And starting and finishing away from home makes for a couple of good days out.
Yeah fair play, it seems the days are gone when if you started away you would finish at home and vice versa which is a shame
