They still have to consider the fact that two local clubs can't play at home on the same day, and things like the Brighton Gay March, and the Reading/Leeds festival mean that these teams have to play away those days.
I'd imagine they'd compute it, then they'd have to check it with humans.

it'll be a simple program where they enter in a date that teams cannot play at home, the program takes this into account and throws up the fixtures accordingly. Same as entering neighbouring teams for Boxing Day & nextdoor neighbour teams not playing at home the same day, just a simple program really.

Exactly! So we definitely can't be playing Leeds on the weekend of the festival, because both teams would have to be away!

Maybe you could play the them twice over the weekend. Home on the Saturday and Away on the Sunday.
That way, your fans can catch a lift up there on various tour buses!
