The thing that excites me for next season is that with the current players as a base, you can add a couple of the injured players returning that will almost feel like new signings (Kadioglu, Georginio, Solly), and then top that up with the best of the current loaned players (Pick a few from Yalcouye, Tzimas, Buanonotte, Enciso, Osman, Ferguson, Beadle etc)... meaning without even spending any money our strength in depth will be insane. With Fab a year into the job, and inevitably a few defensive recruits, we could be looking at the basis for something very exciting!
Don't think we'll see Solly again........and one of our new strikers is injured.............

Thought Mitoma himself decided Saudi wasn’t for him

I think we'll have sold Verbruggen and Rushworth to freshen up our GK options, for starters. I also suspect we'll sell Mitoma and Joao Pedro's as good as gone. I would like to see Bounnanotte given his chance to play, but I do suspect we're going to go out and sign an expensive winger. We were linked to Sancho before, I think we'll go get him.
Sancho is reportedly on £280,000 a week, he won’t come here for the love of the game

My pal is a Brentford fan and went to the Ipswich game. He told me that Enciso was the best player on the pitch at left wing and was virtually unplayable. Kayode, their right back, was meant to be marauding down the Brentford right but he had more than his hands full trying to deal with Enciso, his attacking game was nullified.

He could not believe it when I told him that we were probably selling him because he won't sign a contract extension.
I'm also very fond of Julio. He's an outrageous talent.
But that just about sums it up. Despite that outrageous talent, you have to question his decision-making both on and off the pitch. He could have a future here if he integrates into the team, but doesn't seem that he wants to play under FH.
He'll go somewhere else, be devastating in some games, but go into a big sulk if the team isn't set up around him, etc. Two years later he'll be off because he feels slighted. Rinse and repeat.
I so wish it were otherwise.

I think Mitoma will still be here, for the first game
He's worth more to us, than other clubs can really afford.
We might be able to beat someone up to our price by deadline day though

Pedro will be gone though. We have our succession plan in place and he needs to clear a space.
We will accept anything over £50m for him, and someone will pay it.
Probably this, but I see Pervis starting, and Ferdi replacing Veltman.
Maybe a new CB.
If Bart goes I would hope Rushworth is given a chance in preseason
