I think it would great if we open the first game at Falmer with a brass band on the pitch and the full rendition of Sussex By the Sea. Lyrics on the seats and big screen (there will be a big screen I trust?)

What do you think?:clap2:

Do you still practice in the building on the allotments off Holmes Avenue ? I used to live just near there as a kid (in the early 70's) and the ATC and the allotments were always a source of entertainment!

Yes, I used to be drum major there about 5 years ago. After I left the band fell apart but I have got it running again over the last 6 months.

Newbury, Berkshire.
Surely with Mr Maghee in charge we could enjoy the swirl of Pipe and Drum ( och aye ).

I do so love the sound of cats being strangled.

Perhaps we could also have the ceremonial ' entry of the haggis ' as they did in Dads Army once.

Nah

The first game should be against Donny Rovers

2 Reasons.

They were the last game at the Goldstone (RIP)

and

the next Season they saved us from going out of the league (and probably out of existence) by being even crapper than we were!!!!

brighton, actually
brass band> howsabout....

synchronised polyphonic tunes, d/loaded from the albion site- earn the club a few quid while being part of something 'big'
(maybe a world record, if the server could handle it...?)

and who would we play?

palarse?

gillingham?

liverpool?

(NSC allstars???)

and will Jordan be guest of honour, kicking off the first game?:bounce: :bounce:
