Wood and Broad both bowling really well with the old ball this morning... decent pace, full of length and on or just outside off...

Just far enough away from LDC
Haddin and Lyons are the key here. Break that early then it makes a very interesting little match

Johnson and Starc shouldnt worry us with a bat on this pitch

Here comes Mitchell Johnson. Don't let him get swinging.

Let's hope we keep going well with the old ball. The new one will fly to the boundary.

Now, would you take the new ball in a few overs? the old ball is doing to job nicely.

Erasmus gave it out on the field... it was hitting the stumps... so it stays out... what is there not to like?

Exactly. Umpires have been making good and bad LBW calls since the law was introduced. All DRS does is eliminate the bad ones.

In retrospect, without DRS you would say it was a bit high, but on first view the umpire may have felt there was no doubt it was hitting the stumps, even if DRS shows it was clipping. Fact is, ball is shown to be hitting the stumps, good decision in the end, even if ridiculously tight.

Their tail often wags. Save the new ball until they start scoring runs. They'll struggle to match our score, even if they do, they are batting last!
