Fireworks in Brighton last night

OK - I may have been in a particularly expansive mood last night for whatever reason, but at 9.15pm, the most spectacular firework display I've EVER seen erupted over central Brighton from a boat almost equidistant between the West and PALACE piers. Anyone know what it was all about? This seems to be becoming more frequent and, though it can be a pain when you're after some early kip, it was and is a magnificent and free spectacle.

I suspect it was some builder's daughter's 18th birthday or something, anyone know?

Yes, I saw a load go of near Wild Park, dont know where they where exxactly they were coming from (it deffo wasnt from Wild Park cos I was in Wild Park at the time)
