In the 70s hooliganism was rife but with terracing in place it was cheaper to see a game. So do these factors balance each other out or are 20k plus crowds at Falmer attainable.

We did play more attractive football with more flair players in the side but has the focus of the 'everyday fan' changed. Is it get a result at all costs or should we feel happier if we play good football but lose 4-3?

V true .. and we wont get 30k with a 23k capacity stadium but i do think we will be able to fill it due to the fact that there are very few sporting or entertaiment critera available in the area except footie ... at the end of the day people will watch but are fed up with the piss poor facilities ..me included... its nobodies fault in the present administration but something we have to put right in the future .. archer = tosser !!

To my mind facilities = comfortable seat, good view, ease of access both inside and outside ground and a reasonable choice of fast food places to grab a bite.

I do not subscribe to the thought that we need anythings else.
