Worthing
Just watched It's a Wonderful Life - I can hold out until the last 5 minutes as his friends & neighbours bail him out of his financial problems and his Brother comes back from the War.
It’s a cracking film… it’s quite black after the sugary bit but it just bloody well reminds you of who you are. I’ve just been blessed with my 4th grandchild tonight. I’m so lucky but I could have killed myself 5 years ago. Anyway I try to watch it every couple of years to remind me who I am…

Phantom of the Opera - the final scene. Gets me everytime.

We also saw it on Broadway in July, I cried then too. It’s incredible.

Shadowlands is another, I cried in the cinema.

From Here To Eternity … with The Last Post after Private Maggio is murdered.

Ah, Christmas. The most easiest of times to write a film.

White middle class Boston family, leafy suburbia, two well behaved children. A happy healthy life.

But calamity strikes.

The dog goes missing.

But despite the weepy children, the neighbours who suspend their life, the pooch fails to turn up until bedtime on Christmas Eve.

A box office flop, but guaranteed to make the candy on obscure channels through endless repeats every December.

I'm crying already.

Dirty Dancing.
Doesn’t exactly make me blub, but I went to make a phone call in another room, came back into the lounge and thought ‘for crying out loud’ my wife is watching it again :glare: :annoyed: FFS
Channel surfing earlier I came across it, in a flash Mrs.W looked up, before it was stolen away from her.
