Quadrophenia should have had a sequel

Unfortunately Jimmy becomes a dirty smelly hippie only to commit suicide when years later he realises Steph has turned into a trout.

I always thought that Quadrophenia ended up where it began, so it had kind of gone full circle anyway, now that is a film I must get on DVD.

Icy gull beat me to One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, what would they have called the sequel, One flew back over the cuckoo's nest for another look?

How about Groundhog Day?

Highlander is a classic example of why you should not make sequels.

Highlander II & III were absolute shite.

Star Wars is probably one of the few exceptions as the nine episodes had already been written.

Terminator sequel was better too. Haven't seen 3rd one yet tho.

The original Terminator film was the best. Originals always are. Sequels tend to get made with huge cash returns in mind on the back of a successful flick - but rarely capture the essence of the first film. T2 is one such example. Great effects, but ruined completely by rehashing the plot and the 'performance' of that idiot kid.
And don't bother going to see T3. It's shite. Take my word.
